La Tasha WashingtonLegislative Aide/Office Manager

A Shreveport native, La Tasha earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and African American Studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She minored in French and upon earning her BA, she received a Certificate of Achievement for Completion of the Honors Curriculum. In addition to overseeing and coordinating Representative Burrell's schedule, La Tasha's other duties include tracking legislation, providing legislative information to the public as well as other legislators, and tending to the continually changing needs of the District 2 legislative office.
